Clay Holder
Chief Executive Officer
Clay Holder leads Advantage Distribution Holdings as Chief Executive Officer, where he sets the vision and drives the growth of a platform built to keep independents independent.
Before ADH, Clay served as President of VAD HVAC Distributors, scaling one of the largest HVAC distribution businesses in the country across 20 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. Earlier in his career at Johnson Controls, he led Direct Distribution and Aftermarket Parts for North America, overseeing a $600M P&L and building deep relationships across the channel.
Clay is known for pairing big-picture strategy with on-the-ground execution. He spends as much time thinking about where the business is going as he does with the teams and customers who get it there.
Outside of work, you’ll find him on a mountain bike trail or camping with his family, usually somewhere with no cell service and just enough challenge to make it interesting.

Chief Financial Officer
Shariq Syed serves as Chief Financial Officer of Advantage Distribution Holdings, where he partners closely with founders and operators to equip them with the information and insight needed to stay ahead of the business. His focus is on building financial infrastructure that turns data into action — helping teams operate proactively rather than reactively while driving disciplined growth across the platform.
He has spent his career supporting and scaling multi-location businesses in the trades, previously serving as CFO of Ackerman Trade Services and Canopy Service Partners. Across both roles, he built a reputation for bringing structure to growth and clarity to complex operations.
Outside the office, he can be found spending time with his family or cheering on Arsenal F.C. — often with equal intensity.

Brad Hetisimer
Vice President of Operations
Brad Hetisimer serves as Vice President of Operations at Advantage Distribution Holdings, bringing more than two decades of HVAC distribution experience across both OEM and independent environments.
He has held leadership roles at Bosch and Carrier Enterprises, where he focused on solving the problems that matter most at scale — inventory optimization, network design, vendor strategy, and operational efficiency. Brad has a track record of turning complexity into systems that hold up under pressure.
Just as important, he is a highly respected operator with deep relationships across the industry. He knows how to execute, and he does it in a way that supports the people closest to the customer.
Outside of work, you’ll find Brad on a trail — hiking, biking, or running — or at home with his family.
